Disability Accessibility

"43% of disabled people in the arts consider their disabilities to be a barrier to their career development and progression." - A Room of My Own report, Royal Society of Literature

*My capacity for consultancy is currently full with my work with Inklusion, but please enquire with us as we will try to accommodate consultations where we can*.

I consult with organisations in the arts and publishing on creating disabled and low-income access to opportunities, events, platforms and workplaces. I discuss the barriers faced and the needs of disabled people across a spectrum of disabilities.

I offer a variety of consultations, from a full, tailored package across digital and social media platforms, events, programmes, awards and staff training, to one-off training workshops, or single event consultations.

My lived experience of having disabilities, and a wealth of experience from nearly a decade in publishing, provide me with the tools to deliver strategies to organisations looking to review and improve accessibility. I live with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (a genetic disorder of the connective tissues) Fibromyalgia (a chronic pain illness) and Generalised Anxiety. These are termed as 'invisible' illnesses. I'm also Autistic.
